Beginners:
Little Stixs is a fantastic introduction to the game of lacrosse for
begginers. Students will learn the basics of the game. All
the equipment that is needed is a stick, sneakers and gym shorts!
The Little Stix School will teach your child the following:
• Catching
• Scooping
• Aiming
• Cradling
•
Parts of the
stick
• Working as a team
• Exercise
• Listening
• Hand eye coordination
• Fun games!
Advanced:
Little Stix offers a "step up" for the more advanced student.
Participants will be required to wear full equipment. Students
will touch base on some of the basics but will also learn the following:
• Positions
• Field play
• Rules
• 'Chalk talk"
• Drills
• Game scenarios
• Shooting
• Cradling
• Dodging
